Hi there, and welcome! I’m Roos, and if you’ve ever felt lost in your 20s, you’re in the right place. I’m here to share my journey of self-discovery, resilience, and figuring out who I am—and hopefully help you along the way too.
How do you find happiness again when life as you know it turns upside down?
Not too long ago, my life flipped on its head. Within a month, I moved out of my home, dropped out of school, realized I was miserable at work, and even lost my two closest friends—to each other. I felt like I had nowhere to turn and, worst of all, no idea who I could trust—myself included. It felt like I had fallen into a hole with no way out, and for the first time, I was forced to ask some pretty big questions. What do I want? Who are my real friends? What kind of work will fulfill me? And where on earth do I even start?
I was left feeling lost, alone, empty, and somehow still overflowing with emotions. Managing those feelings, fears, and questions felt impossible. And the truth? I still don’t have a magic answer to make everything feel okay. But as I’ve struggled through this, I’ve realized I’m not the only one wrestling with these questions. These are things so many of us face in our 20s, and I think it’s time we talk about it.
That’s why I’m building Rise Vista —a space where I can be real with you about what it takes to rebuild, redefine, and find joy again. Through my own stories and insights (with a little psychological science mixed in), I’ll be exploring the ups and downs of self-discovery, tackling everything from navigating friendships and career choices to finding true happiness in yourself.
Together, I hope we can create a community that lifts each other up, shares the struggles, and celebrates the wins. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m excited to dive in, question things, and learn alongside you. Subscribe to join this journey, and let’s help each other grow and find happiness we didn’t know was possible.
